The renovation of this early 1990s home transformed it from a dated structure into a modern oasis. The project began with a complete gut of the main floor, which involved removing a wall, the popcorn ceilings and some outdated glass block features. With complete removal of the polyB, the installation of a new AC system, brand new flooring, some new windows and a bright new lighting scheme throughout, the home now feels open and airy. The freshly painted walls were reconfigured to optimize flow, paving the way for a chic coffee bar that is now in the location of the original kitchen.
This expansive kitchen was relocated to a more functional area, showcasing custom cabinetry and an impressive oversized range takes center stage. Stunning countertops flow through the space inviting culinary creativity, while epoxy grout adds durability and longevity to the feature backsplash. Adjustments were made to the kitchen window size to accommodate the sink and counter top below, adding perfect sight lines to the backyard. Original built in buffet was updated completely with decorative molding removed, painted and new hardware added.
Stylish barn door and pocket doors lead to transformed bathrooms that are both luxurious and practical. The guest bath now boasts a custom tile shower and a spacious vanity, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. Meanwhile, the ensuite bath features heated floors, a striking freestanding tub, a glass-enclosed shower with product niches, exquisite tile work, and a new double vanity, combining elegance with everyday functionality. In the basement, three egress windows were added, enhancing both safety and natural light. New plush carpet and underlay added warmth and comfort in the main floor bedrooms and stairwell.
This renovation not only modernized the home but also enhanced its livability, blending style and comfort seamlessly.
